Position Description

Join a dynamic cardiology team in Missouri as a Physician Assistant for a rewarding locum assignment. This position combines clinical and inpatient work, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in cardiovascular care.


Job Details:

  • Start Date: May 2025
  • Duration: Ongoing, 6+ months
    • Schedule: Clinic: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
    • Hospital: 7 AM - 4 PM
    • Call: In-house and beeper call (4-5 patient calls on weekdays/month, 1 weekend/month)
  • Setting: Mix of inpatient and outpatient
  • Patient Volume: 19/day in clinic; inpatient varies
  • Types of Cases: General cardiology, including patient floor calls, hospital rounds, consults, and clinic visits
  • Support Team: 20 RNs, 18 MAs, 10 APPs
  • Charting System: EPIC
  • Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days

Job Requirements:

  • Certification: Board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, ABLS
  • Licensure: Valid Missouri or Interstate Medical License
